Ready for giving or gifting!
This was the January 2017 Block Lotto block of the month.
I decided to give the blocks a try using some bits and pieces of Princess Castle fabrics I think I had leftover from making pillowcases for the granddaughters when they were younger. I also had a variety of different pink solids in the chunk scrap crate as well as some purple solids.
I quilted in some free motion four petaled flowers. I didn't have any pink thread so used purple and it may be a bit overwhelming. I guess I will just think pink sky and castles in purple flower gardens.
The flowers blend in on the back!

I really like that layout, and your quilting looks really good too. I noticed you machine stitched the binding on, and you did a good job on that too. Maybe you do bindings that way all the time, but this is the first time I've noticed it. Wish I had the courage to try it! ---"Love"
Your quilt turned out great! I did a version as well and I am ready to quilt mine.
Congrats on a finish. I love the colors of all the fabrics. Its a very cheerful quilt
This is a fun quilt, and some little girl that loves pink and purple will NOT find this to be too much pink/purple! Hee hee! Great job, and I love your quilting.
You are really getting things done! Good for you!
Lovely! Some little girl's dream quilt.
I love these colors!!! Fun finish!
What a cheerful quilt! I like the decorative stitching on the binding. Thank you for participating in the FAL, on behalf of the 2019 global FAL hosts.
