Selvage Stars
Blocks finish at 12 inches.
My goal is to make six stars a month until I have a total of 56.
I'm alternating red and yellow backgrounds.
It's kind of fun to read what shows up in some of those itty bitty selvages - Bees Knees, Bloodshot Eyes, Sweet Dreams, Scrapbag...
Last year I worked on taming my crumbs. This year I want to tame the selvages and strings. I'm working on a variety of string and selvage projects and hope to work on them a little each week and post about progress on Fridays.

Stars look great and love the background fabrics you have chosen!
Cathy, are you sewing the selvages to a base?
They look good!
Yes, how are you putting them together?
You have a good eye for color and for scraps!
I love these!
Those look very striking. I'll be interested to see the quilt grow. Thank you for linking up to the Peacock Party.
