Duck, Duck, Goose
45 x 54
It's a finish ready for giving or gifting.
(No clothesline photos today. I draw the line at going out when it's below zero).
Last year while digging through some boxes I found a remnant of blue and yellow fabric with ducks. I continued digging and I also found some fabric in my stash with pale yellow ducks on a pale pink background. I think the game Duck Duck Goose went through my mind about that time and that prompted me to pick up some pink, yellow and blue scraps to make some Flying Geese. The mind works in mysterious ways. I finished the top last May.

Very pretty. Nice colors. It's good to stay in and quilt when it' cold!
Too cute! I think I have (or had) that same blue fabric with the ducks.
Again you've done it; made a really pretty quilt out of almost nothing but scraps! Good job! ---"Love"
So cute, Cathy! It’s another winner!
The ducks must be happy that all that snow melted...
It always amuses me to hear the story of how one of your quilts came to be. It's such a Cathy Thing to have a phrase come to mind and then make a quilt to match the phrase :)
Isn't it good to use the scraps. This is a wonderful kid quilt.
A lovely finish. Colours are so pretty and I love how you have reversed the direction of the two right columns of Geese. Your quilt name reminds me of a sign commonly seen on low wooden beams in old English pubs: "Duck or Grouse". Meaning duck your head or grouse about hitting it on the beam!
A very cute quilt! And a great way to use up those scraps too!
Love it, what a great themed quilt!
It is snowing here so I am with you about avoiding extreme temperatures. However these bright colors will look awesome on a snowy white background. I am sure it will make someone very happy.
Ha! I love it! Your names are always so clever, and this may be my favorite!!
