It's a finish!
A Fat Quarter Challenge
sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop.
40 x 58
The FQ I used is that lime green/white gray in the star center. Funny that after I added some lime green star points the lime green in the FQ looked yellow.
I stretched the FQ as much as I could for 12 Star centers. Some stars centers are just the FQ fabric, some have the FQ fabric framed...
...and for one star I really had to stretch the FQ fabric by making a nine patch. I had just enough of that fabric in the nine patch to...
...add a border at top and bottom.
The rest of the quilt is made of a variety of gray scraps from the chunk crate.
I quilted it on my sewing machine with some stars and loops.
The batting was pieced from scraps. The backing is a piece of flannel I made sure to wash before use because I've found that flannel sometimes really shrinks. For the binding I used solid gray and lime green bits and pieces.

Stars, lime green and purple with grey (looks like grey from here) I like that combo.
And the nine patch to shake it up. Someone will enjoy that quilt.
