Weekly Update - Vintage Thingamajigs

Vintage Thingamajigs

Since July 1 I've been working on these blocks for 20 minutes each day.  It was a challenge issued by Stashbusters Yahoo Group - pick a project and work on it for 20 minutes each day.  I'm making these Ohio Star variation six inch blocks inspired by vintage blocks.   This week I added six blocks which brings my total to 14. My target goal is 244 blocks.

Until next Monday...

I didn't realize how contagious they were until it was too late...
I'm dithering about which way to set mine. In the meanwhile, I'll just keep generating these potato chip hourglasses. 8)

That's a nice idea, to work 20 min. each day on a special quilt. I might try something like that. Nice blocks, I love the vintage style!

I've been trying that, work for 20 minutes then get up and go to something else for a while, thing
and yes, it's freeing. My body doesn't get so grumpy.
Thanks for the tip, I'm won over.

These are beautiful. Before I read your description I thought, "ah, lucky girl, she's found some lovely vintage blocks." I was surprised to read that they are newly made and vintage inspired. Good job!!
