Snowball/Nine Patch
45 x 54
It's a finish!
Cats are in the snowballs. I used some big prints and some collage type prints.
For the Nine Patches I used several different scraps of this and that but tried to stick with a mostly red, blue, yellow color scheme for this one.
I quilted it with swirls on my DSM. I used a red checked print for the binding.
I wanted to use something red for the backing so that if any of the many red fabrics bled it would not be noticeable. The red backing is actually a red with white pindots. And the piece down the middle is the last of that cat paw print.
The theme this month in my sewing space is March Madness (Quilting) Marathon. I'm going to concentrate on finishing up a lot of the small tops I have in the TBQ (to be quilted) pile. They will then be donated to:
And sew on...

CELEBRATE! (my word of the year)
March 4 - Sense of humor. A sense of humor is indeed something to celebrate.
Wish I could purchase such a thing. I'd buy a bunch to give to a few folks I know who really could use one.

What a great quilt! So bright and cheerful, plenty to look at and enjoy. My goodness, someone will love receiving this quilt.
I'm in agreement with sense of humor. A lot of people could have a happier life if they had a good dose of it.
Oh! My! Fluffy Bananas! I LOVE this quilt. It's so cute, cheerful, and the purrfect colour combo. (It's snowballs right, and not cat fur balls? Lol.) That black and red paw print is SO cute! Any cat lover will just fall for this quilt. Well done! I laughed at the end of the celebration bits. I had no idea where you were going with the purchases. Good one! I agree too many people have a deficiency in that department. Enjoy! ;^)
Congrats on this one! I was so surprised at the recent Sunshine retreat when we were combining snowballs and nine-patches, that there was this fantastic secondary pattern made when the corners matched or were close.
I am sure you have known about this for quite some time.
I sure like the look and the wonderful "accident" if you manage your corners properly!
This quilt is fabulous! Some lucky child will cherish it.

Sometimes just plain humor is pretty scarce. I cannot tolerate humor at the expense of someone else which is why I had such a hard time teaching middle school.
very fabulous work.
