Snowball and Nine Patch Finish

It's a finish!
Snowball and Nine Patch
60 x 72

Back in 2020 one of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) blocks was Nine Patches made with 2.5 inch scraps. Last year I made three different tops with the blocks. This one uses the red and yellow Nine Patches.

For the Snowball corners I used oranges and pinks.

I quilted in with simple lines - vertical and horizontal - with a variegated red and yellow thread.

The binding is the same as the backing.

The back.

And sew on...

I really like this one, so cheerful. I like the warm colors best and any pattern that creates a diagonal chain is a winner.

This is so neat the way the blocks form! And I like your straight line quilting. Nine patches would be an easy RSC for next year.

Simple, but SEW effective "hot" quilt, Cathy!! This is a Bucket List item that I haven't managed to work my way around to... yet.

A Snowball and Nine Patch is always a good choice and you used a good combination of colors.

That is such a pretty color combo, and I love the blocks themselves too. Great finish!

I love this one. It could be a Fall or a Spring quilt. It reminds me of a sunrise. Simple blocks can make wonderful quilts and that's a great example of that. Bravo! ;^)
