Buckeye Beauty Variation - Some Assembly Required

I've just finished 48 Buckeye Beauty Variation blocks and have met my goal of 130 blocks. Now there's some assembly required.

This vintage quilt was my inspiration. I used '30s reproduction prints and shirtings to make my blocks.

And sew on...

You'll use a straight set? That way the units don't blend indistinguishably from block to block. Set 10 x 13 so 60 x 78?

You match up the craziest combinations and it always comes out great. I love looking at your work, and am always amazed at your productivity.

You have paired some pretty colours together in your blocks.

I've never seen this variant of Buckeye Beauty. I love it! I might have to copy this one now. Thanks for the inspiration and well done! ;^)

Definitely a beautiful vintage feel to your blocks, you've done such a lot, what size are they?

Very much a vintage feel. Will be so lovely quilted up and textured.

This is a variation that I would like to try. I don't think that I have ever seen this one before - other than on your blog. Do you know where your inspiration photo came from?
