It's a finish!
Geese in the Roses
60 x 69
It is inspired by a Flying Geese quilt at Stitched in Color.
I used lots of rose print scraps in this one.
I quilted it on my DSM with a pink variegated thread. I wanted to try a rose motif but figured it would not be worth the trouble of trying something new on these busy fabrics. Instead I went with my three petaled flower for the quilting.
This is the backing.
With this one I can check another UFO off the list.

My favorite thus far!
What a fun quilt! The front is so pretty, and the backing is perfect!
Everything is surely coming up roses.

I like the varied direction of the geese. The backing fabric is beautiful.
Really lovely--geese flying in roses quilt! Such a pretty one...hugs, Julierose
Such a lovely quilt! I have always wanted to try and make an all geese quilt, but I don't want to make geese that all need trimming. The fabrics looks so wonderful together.
congrats on another fantastic Rose flimsy :-)
Beautiful rose quilt. That's a lot of flying geese 😉
Oh I love this one! I love Flying Geese but never really made them - fear I think? What method do you use to make Flying Geese? I think all the variations have scared me off.
Geese in the Roses? Fabulous quilt finish, Cathy!!! LOVE it!!
So sweet! Love the colors!!
OMG! So many geese, so many roses! What a fab combination!
My grandma raised geese and roses, and as I recall she was usually trying to keep them apart... Little did she know what a wonderful combination they'd make!
This is a fun one, too. So scrappy yet organized. I am enjoying all your roses in December!
Oh, so perfect! Another great quilt! Love those flying geese!
