A new top!
Waffle Cone Roses
51 x 63
Remember back on December 1 I said I had a bin of dark scraps and I removed the brown and orange ones for a future quilt? This is that future quilt. I used a lot of those scraps in the blocks that are strip pieced. I thought this pattern would be a good one to use with some large brown rose prints.
I had a few other odds and ends in browns to go with the big prints.
This was a quick make and I like how it turned out.
I have a lot of brown scraps left...
...and a couple more small pieces of big brown rose prints so I will probably piece a backing for this one.
I'm working with my collection of rose prints this month. This is rosy quilt top #3.

Such lovely rose prints. I like how well they are showcased in this pattern. Nice work hugs, Julierose
Thanks for the pattern link and congrats on another beautiful quilt top with a rosy glow!! Will there be another? It's amazing just how far some fabric can stretch, Cathy! Looking forward to seeing just how many quilts will come from your rose print stash.
WOW! You rose-wrangler, you!
Not seen this pattern before. It works well with your rose fabrics. My goodness, this was quickly put together!
Coming up roses here! Your photos are great, good natural lighting!
And your two tops, Roses in a Log Cabin and Waffle Cone Roses are fabulous Cathy.
Much applause to you, thanks for sharing.
Blessings to you for thinking of others going through tough times.
I'm enjoying your rose parade this month.
That’s a great pattern to use those large print fabrics on! Looks like it works up quickly. I even spy an old rose fabric I used to have and love! Nice finish, Cathy!
You are coming up with some really interesting and fun ideas for your rose quilts!
Is the waffle cone your idea, Cathy? It's a great way to use large scale prints and coordinating strips. A bold design.
