It's a Finish! Puss in the Corner

 Puss in the Corner
60 x 75
It's a finish!

Ready for donation.

Last year I had a bunch of cat themed scraps I wanted to use up. I think I had enough scraps for five quilts. In this one I used some larger print pieces for the block centers.

The blocks are 15 inch (finished) Puss in the Corner blocks with a puss in the center.
I quilted it on my DSM with large swirls.

The back is a tan gently used 100% cotton sheet from the thrift store.

Another great idea for a happy I Spy type quilt using novelty fabrics.
I've got some donated novelties that this will work with. Another one in the queue.

I so enjoy your blog, and your colorful quilts, but this one in particular has stolen my heart! I love the colors, the cats, the design, the quilting--and it's even the size I want. Would you consider selling it to me? (Yeah, I'm a quilter too, but haven't managed to make myself a quilt yet--too busy with the donation ones, and other, less fun parts of life.) Pretty Please? The money could go to make lots more donation quilts, or even be donated as is. Whether you will or won't, please email me at susanprincess at att dot net. Thanks!

Putting novelty fabric in the centers with solids or tone-on-tone in the corners is inspired. Your choices have made this quilt sing! Someone will love this quilt.
Good quilting, too. Congratulations.

This reminds me of the quilt my sister and I made for baby gifts in the early 2000's! So bright and colorful.:)
