The Taming of the Purple Scraps

This month's Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) color is purple.
I dug into the 3.5 inch scrap bin and made some Broken Dishes blocks.  A few pieces left over that were less than a 3.5 inch square was sewn into a strip. Long ago I used to throw those pieces in the crumb box but the last couple of years I've been sewing them into strips for a Chinese Coin quilt.
I made a few Cat blocks from chunks of purple. I've been using different gray scraps for the backgrounds.  My goal is a twin sized quilt.  I'm not sure how they will be laid out.
I made little rail fence blocks from 1.5 inch scraps. I included a few light blue I didn't get finished last month.  I've been making these for a couple of years and probably need close to 200 more for a queen sized quilt.
These Sixteen Patch blocks came out of the 2 inch scrap bin.

Great use of your 3.5” scraps. I like the way you make chunks for a future Chinese coins quilt. The 9 patches are great, especially those scraps of jigsaw fabric.

They are all beautiful but I especially love that you’re planning a Coin quilt in the future. Yay!
