I know some of you wonder about me when I step away from the blog for a bit so just thought I would let you know that my 17 year old granddaughter was found dead in her bed this morning. Cause of death is unknown at this point so we are awaiting an autopsy that will hopefully give us an explanation as to what happened to our beloved granddaughter. I am heartbroken, shocked, devastated and numb at this point. I cannot sew. I must grieve for awhile.

Sorry for your loss but more concerned for all who are left behind. My brother died the day before his 16th birthday. We did a lot wrong in recovery. First and foremost love one another and don't blame. Therapists are a great option. Someone with nothing to gain or lose but has ability to allow you to talk about the pain and loss you will feel. No matter how she died no one can bring her back and you need to honor the good memories. Share lots of love and try to only share the hurt and anger with a professional outside the circle of family and friends. You owe no one any answers. You owe yourself time to heal and to breathe. I wish you only the best in healing.
