Little Wonky Stars and PSP20

This week I had a few solid scraps of blue out so made some Wonky Stars with those solids and waste triangles. They finish at 4.5 inches.  I had the green solid squares cut last month when the RSC (Rainbow Scrap Challenge) color was green but never got around to making the Wonky Stars last month so they carried over into this month.

I also made a few PSP20 blocks (Postage Stamp Pandemic 2020) with a few blue solids. I see the PSP20 is mutating. I noticed the block in the lower right has 72 postage stamps instead of the usual 64. Ooops! Wonder how that happened. And now I know I didn't cut too few solid pieces or misplace them...I simply lost my mind for a bit while sewing pieces together.

Your wonky stars twinkle! So funny about that extra large psp block, too - he must have put on a few extra pandemic pounds!

Oops -- funny how blocks evolve over time.

I just love those sparkly little stars!
And whenever I lose my mind, I generally find it curled up in a stack of fabric, happily dreaming about quilts...

Watch out for those mutations, they can get rather nasty! Pretty little wonky star blocks, twinkling away.

Cute wonky stars! And I love the postage stamps too, mutations and all. Usually when my blocks develop a mutation, it's because there was something interesting on the radio. Or the dog wandered in, hubby asked me something, the phone rang...hmm, I guess it really does happen all the time. My seam ripper and I are good friends.

Pretty wonky stars.

You may have to put that PPS block in lockdown to control the mutation before the outbreak spreads too far. I should probably make some wonky star blocks with the waste triangles . They're starting to multiple and I can only deal with so many pinwheels before things spin out of control.

Your blocks are cute, as always. I think the best cure for your PSP20 mutation is a seam ripper. It’s like a vaccination for quilt blocks, hehe!

Your Wonky stars collection is growing. You certainly got carried away with the PSP20 blocks!

That looks like a fun idea -- sewing wonky stars but changing the backgrounds to follow RSC. Cool!

That mutation block could beccome the center of a gifted doll quilt. Just an idea.
