And Then There Were Twenty-five

My August OMG (One Monthly Goal)  was to make 12 more Blind Man's Fancy (Tea in the Rose Garden) blocks.   I now have met that goal and have 25 blocks total. Next step is to make the Flying Geese sashing.

I decided to get my August goal out of the way early in the month since I may be gone toward the end of the month for awhile.

Those blocks are soooo pretty! Love the big floral prints in the middle, a good way to feature those big prints without cutting them up!

This is amazing! I just finished a quilt (I haven't blogged about it yet.) and it only has eight Blind Man's Fancy blocks around an appliqued center. I am in awe that you made 25 of these blocks. They are tricky. You have used some really delightful fabrics.

I thought I would share with you MY blind man's fancy; I can't find a picture of the finished quilt right now, but here are the blocks. http://nancynearphiladelphia.blogspot.com/2016/02/remembering-tophlos.html

Those blocks look like an unbelievable amount of work! Since they're not assembled yet, I'm going to mention that one of the hourglass blocks is turned in the left block of the fourth pair. (Sorry to be that commenter!) Looking forward to seeing this come together!

Beautiful florals! Are they all from your fabric stash?
