Back in December instead of making Bonnie Hunter's mystery, On Ringo Lake, I made a bunch of the units called for in her clues to move a couple of my UFOs along.
Those Flying Geese above were for the sashing for my Blind Man's Fancy quilt in civil war reproduction fabrics. My quilt has 5 blocks across and down. So far I have all 5 rows with sashing assembled. But I don't have enough Flying Geese to complete the top.
So my February One Monthly Goal (OMG at Elm Street Quilts) is to make more Flying Geese and make the little four patches necessary to get this top assembled and then get the top assembled like you see in the Inspiration photo above. I'm probably not going to have any border outside the Flying Geese border and my top will be 5 blocks x 5 blocks.
I should get moving! February is a short month but hopefully at the end of the month I'll have a new flimsy!

Your geese are beautiful! I love Civil War fabric but there are no stores near me that sell it so I have to buy it online. This quilt is going to be gorgeous.
