Off The Beaten Path

Off The Beaten Path
(Drunkard's Path six inch blocks)
Nann tells me this block in this layout is also called Jockey Cap.

I have a goal to make 12 of these a week.  I think this now makes 156 blocks of target 224.

You are adhering to your promise to make 12 of these blocks a week. Excellent! You are well on the way for a finish and then no doubt the blocks will magic themselves into a flimsy before we can blink!

Jockey Silks would be a great name for this quilt, as the lovely mix of spots and stripes really remind me of the matching bright jackets and caps that the jockeys wear!

I need more polka dots. Like, now. Polka dots. Gotta have dots. Lots and lotsa dots...
(Trying to decide if it's a good thing or a bad thing that online fabric stores never close)

I don't really see a jockey cap but I'm getting a little dizzy just looking. Are these all hand appliqued?

Oo, the rainbow stripes with swirls is a neat fabric! It's a stripe AND a dot...

Good progress, full of energy.
Maybe borders in the future?

I like the second one down on the left - kind of wild but in a good way.
