Where Acorns Grow on Maple Trees and the Skies Are Not Cloudy All Day

Autumn is here. Leaves are starting to turn colors and fall from the trees. I thought it was time to get out some fall themed scraps and make six more 12- inch Tree of Life blocks.  And now there are 12.  I guess I need to decide on a layout so I know how many I actually need to make.

And remind me not to make six at a time next time. Those HSTs finish at 1.5 inches and a few are a little less pointy than others.  I've never seen a tree where all the leaves looked exactly the same so I'll leave them alone (for now).  I shouldn't take close up photos.

Oh these look lovely! I can't imagine making six in one day! Your a real trooper! They look lovely from here and that is how feel about my applique leaves taking a bit of liberty with them. Feels good!

They really are lovely Autumn colours - I think you're brave with the 1.5" HSTs!

Do let the leaves be different from one another. I was wondering why the trees look so real. Your choice of fabrics helps them look natural, too. These are my favorite trees, thank you for sharing.
