Four Patch Finish

It's a finish!

Four Patch

40 x 50

I started this last year when I was working on emptying a box of 3 inch width scraps and squares. I made quite a few Four Patches and then set aside pieces for the rest. I finished those up this year.

I quilted it on the diagonals.

The backing is pieced and features Mr. Toad.
The binding is light neutral scrappy.

And sew on...

The weather has been beautiful and quite a bit cooler so I dug up some white and  purple fingerling  potatoes and purple carrots to put in with a roast for dinner tonight.

Beautiful bounty from your garden. Do the purple carrot taste any different than orange ones? No matter the color, I’m sure ones from your garden taste amazing.

Charming quilt and delicious produce. My squash failed with blossom end rot. I’ll try something else next year.

I love it, simple blocks but so very effective. I've never had purple carrots before.

it is always nice when the vegetables start to come in isn't it. Four Patch quilts always look so good I really need to make more of them from my boxes of pre-cut squares from the scraps saved.

I can almost feel the "cuddle" in that quilt. So comforting. Good box of produce. I hope you enjoy your dinner.
