Seeing Red...Scraps

Red is the Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) color of the month. So this week I made a few Big Chips...

...and a few Postage Stamp Pandemic blocks...

...and a few Little Wonky Shoofly blocks.

I love floral fabric also. I think you are very smart to pick the block size. And then use the size of your scraps to make up simple blocks. Your rose quilt is gorgeous! You always inspire me...Violet

I really like those reds with the black and white background fabric! Fun to see what you've been doing with your red scraps this week.

I love your chips and PSP blocks! Although I made some chips this week too, I’m waiting until next week to show them. And your black and white fabrics are much nicer. My scraps are more the dregs of the scrap drawer!

love the big chips and the wonky shoofly in reds. Great progress with your reds.

All three blocks are great. Big chips have such a punch with the contrast between the red centres and the corners.

It is so much fun to see what you do with your scraps every week! It makes my fingers itch to cut and sew!

Red rocks! Love the way you move from pinks through purples and oranges.

Those wonky little shooflies are adorable! (And of course quilt blocks make me giggle. Perfectly normal)

Those shoo fly blocks in red look amazing. I think there needs to be a whole quilt just in red.

Nice bright reds! They look wonderful against those neutral fabrics in the first photo.
