Right now it is just a 40 x 60 top.
My February OMG (One Monthly Goal) is to get this top pin basted, quilted and bound.
The top consists of little Happy Blocks that finish at four inches. I've been making these off and on for years when the urge strikes. I use 2.5 inch scraps for the centers and 1.5 inch scraps for the sides.
This is the second quilt top to come out of my 16 quart bin of 4.5 inch Parts that I blogged about last December. I challenged myself to empty the bin and see how many quilt tops I could make from the contents.
My nephew and wife are due to deliver a baby boy this month so I think this will be one of baby's gifts along with some books.
I think that Raggedy Andy and Ann scrap is from something I made my daughter long ago. I may have an old photo around here with her wearing a little sun dress made out of it. She's 43 so it's pretty old.
So I guess I need to find a backing, pin baste it and decide how to quilt it and then quilt it if I want to Spy a finish any time soon.

Hi Cathy, I’m a fairly recently retired registered nurse with the majority of my career spent working in hospitals. I can happily report that I have seen several I’ll little one entertains themselves ‘reading’ their quilts. I’m always in awe of the numerous fun quilts that you give back to your community. I’m sure there is a special place in heaven for quilters like you. I almost forgot, thanks bunches for your amazing inspiration.
Those are really cute blocks, and someone is going to really love that quilt! ---"Love"

This is a fun quilt!
My sister raided my fabric when she was here for I Spy centers. What fun to see this one and know it will go to a great-nephew. Baby quilts are always wonderful. I am curious how many quilts you make from this bin.
What a fun quilt, and it will make a great baby present--he will have fun for years with all the things to look at! Good luck with your monthly goal!
