A Flimsy Has Sprouted

 Sprouts
It's a flimsy! (finally)
62 x 74

It was a Rainbow Scrap Challenge project.
Lots of scrap seedlings grew into a scrappy top.

Now I hope it doesn't take me several years to get it quilted.

And speaking of sprouts...my orchid is in bloom. The orchid and other houseplants share a corner of my sewing room in the winter. Now I feel like sewing something with yellows and purples.

πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»♥️♥️♥️ While I’m plugging along with my quilt, you have been pumping them out. I am always amazed. This is a cute pattern....don’t recall ever seeing it before. Refreshing spring/ summery look. Sigh, I’m cooking at fat fluffy flakes slowly falling down....all day. Heading out to play ball with my four footed buddy and feed my horse. I really look forward to your posts, some of them prod me to think outside the box. From snowy Maine.

I remember you making some of these blocks. They look great sewn into your latest flimsy.

I just went to see this quilt top again. Duh! First time I didn’t notice that the yellow row changed to orange. And some of the other rows were two subtle color changes too. Loved it. Then I looked to see if this could be strip pieced a bit to make it a little faster. Last, I imagined possible quilting in my mind. Verdict, I’m tempted to start one myself. That is and yes, I did have to train myself, not until I finish my current quilt. I’m intrigued with my thoughts of adding quilting vines and other things. I quilt all of my quilts myself using my Bernina. Plain old machine and I surprise myself how big of a quilt I can wrestle through that regular size throat area. Love ❤️ πŸ’— πŸ’• your creative mind.

That design is very intriguing! Don't know that I've ever seen that pattern before. I still don't know you get so many tops, make that quilts, together so quickly. ---"Love"
