I've been using my blue short string scraps and black/black and white short string scraps in Wonky Log Cabin Blocks.
Blocks measure 9 inches finished.
I used the more traditional red centers.
I made 24 blocks.
With a small border this will eventually measure out to be a child -sized 40 x 60 quilt for donation.
I've used up a lot of scraps but probably have enough for another quilt this size.
The last Wonky Log Cabin quilt I made and donated to Wrap-A-Smile was the one above.

Love this idea and would suit my scrap mountain of smallish scraps I think. Stunning quilt and what a fabulous way to support a great cause. Thanks for linking up to Scraptastic Tuesday
I really want to make more log cabin quilts, your blocks and quilt are inspiring. I went to check out your other quilts, you have made many beautiful quilts, and sure use your scraps in a lovely way.
a great use of scraps!! I have boxes full of them and don't know if I will ever use them all up
I love liberated log cabins. I've made one similar. You can see it on "My Makes" tab if/when you visit my blog. I found you on Scraptastic Tuesday Linky Party.
