The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for February is purple.
I used 1.5 inch scraps this week and made one 6 x 14 Whatchamacallit block...
...and several little 3 inch rails.
And then if there's any 1.5 inch scrap left over after that it gets thrown into the Spider Web project box. That way I can spread the scraps between 3 quilts for maximum scrapiness!! I have about six Spider Web blocks that I started ages ago using 1.5 inch scraps and then , for whatever reason, it stalled. Any new scraps in light blue or purple accumulated throughout the year will go into the regular old 1.5 inch scrap box for next year's whatchamacallits, rails, or new project.

That's a lot of purple strips :) Looking good!
You have a plan and you stick with it and you are organized! Is that the secret to why you get so much done!! :)
I like your 3 inch rails! Will they turn into their own quilt, or do you mix them with other blocks?
A productive day. Two more quilts definitely on the go and a Spider Web in the wings.
Great beginning for February. You do have lots of pretty purples.
Great purple beginnings. I like spreading my scraps into different projects too.
that is a whole lot of scrap happiness there! And isn't it wonderful.
So glad you found a way to recharge your spiderweb blocks. They are going to be fabulous.
Oh you have wonderful purples to work with!!
Beautiful selection of purples! 3" rails? Is this going to be a miniature quilt?
Look at all those purples! (I only see one we have in common...) I love these little blocks of yours - so simple, but they're going to be spectacular when you set them into a quilt!
Your PURPLE productivity is an inspiration to us all!!
I have "mixed" feelings about separating out my strips by color. So, like you I'm balancing using the strips in rainbow quilts but keeping a spiderweb/lego box varied.
