Quarter Stars
Last year I started making Quarter Stars with brown scraps. Since neutrals is the Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) color of the month I decided this is one of the projects I would work on this month. I have accumulated a big baggie of 2.5 inch width brown scraps I want to use up first before I cut into scrap chunks. I am making the quarter star parts before I assemble the stars.
I made parts for 29 blocks last year and now I have parts for 40 blocks so I am halfway toward my goal of 80 blocks.
As my brown 2.5 inch width scraps get too short for star parts I cut them into other lengths for other scrap projects.
And sew on...

This is a fun block. It is fun to see how you keep coming up with new ways to use everything.
Nice!
So many folks dislike brown but I think it has a lot of character and so many variations. Like your stars a lot.
The quarter stars are fun to play with! I love them in your different browns!
All the fun backgrounds make those brown star quarters pop. This is looking so good.
Those are really nice brown stars. Can't wait to see them all together.
These colors are just yummy! I love the pattern
Love it!
It's on my agenda
