Pink and Blue Coins
40 x 60
It's a finish!
This is one of 13 quilt tops I made last year when I emptied a box of 3 inch width scraps. There were several long strips in the box in pinks and blues so I turned them into coins - 2 strips at least 13.5 inches long were sewn together and then cut into 4.5 inch lengths and sewn back together into a strip of 6.
I quilted it on my sewing machine with vertical lines on each side of the seam lines.
The binding is scrappy - pink pieces from the leftover binding box.
The backing is pieced - 3 different blue fabrics.
And sew on...

Beautiful granddaughter, she is forever in your heart.
OMG sweetness and simple appreciation in her face. Hugs to you as the celebrate the life she lived and deal with the grief all at the same time.
