Sugar Loaf Stars

Sugar Loaf Star #19

Sugar Loaf Star #20

Sugar Loaf Star #21

Goal is 25 stars for a quilt designed by Pam Buda called Flashes of Brilliance found in the October 2015 edition of American Patchwork and Quilting. I'm hoping I can finish the last four blocks by year end.

Thanks for the inspiration, Cathy! I am SO determined to start making these in 2021. I had to order some (white) background fabric, but now I'm ready to give it a whirl. Any tips on choosing fabrics for each block? The last one in today's post (brown, yellow, green) is my favorite of the group!

I love your stars so much! Every time you show them I have to adjust which one is my favorite, though...
Can't wait to see it all put together!

They're all beautiful! Will you set them the way that Pam did?
