I had enough fabric to fussy cut roosters for all 16 twenty inch Boho Rooster (Sunburst) blocks. It was down to the wire and I thought I might have to piece a rooster from parts but I had a rooster to spare.
Next step is to piece the backgrounds. These circles are not appliqued to the background but instead the four corners are pieced. I just took a photo of all these blocks against the same background fabric but they will all get different fabrics.

It's amazing how the same roosters look different with different spikes and arcs. Good job!
I love those! I can almost hear those cocky roosters crowing! ---"Love"
Great collection of blocks. Love the background although you intend to make them with different ones. What a fabulous quilt this will be.
Your boho chicken blocks are awesome! Looking good!
Did I say how much I love the 'boho' colors?
Beautifully done blocks!
Brilliant color combinations! You have a way with colors. I really like these blocks.
I wish I'd made these gorgeous blocks! How large are the star-burst circles? When you sewed the points, was the center left open and you appliqued the chicken circle over the hole? Or did you cut away the center behind the circle? (I'm assuming the chicken is appliqued....)
These roosters are so fabulous that I'm just breathless looking at them! Love love love each and every one!
By the time you get the top done, I'm going to have to breath in a paper bag to keep from hyperventilating...
What an exciting explosion of color and pattern! These are beautiful!
This must be the Week of the Chicken! You have your awesome boho chickens and Sally did a couple martini chickens. Looking good!!
Love that feather fabric! The feathers are certainly flyin' :)
Your blocks are something to crow about! I look forward to seeing them set. (Hey, that's another poultry metaphor....)
Oh these are so cute!! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt!
These are so much fun! Cock a doodle doo!
I'm not sure whether to be happy you had enough roosters, or a tiny bit sad I won't get to see one you have pieced together!
Glad you made it! This is going to spectacular!
