Down The Beaten Path

I've been trying to make 12  six inch Drunkard's Path (Down the Beaten Path)  blocks each week to move this UFO forward.  So far so good. Here's last week's dozen and this week's.  And now there are 132 blocks. I forget the target count. I'm thinking 225.

I cut these by hand and twelve of them is about all I can piece before I get bored with them and have to move on to something else.

One step at a time...

I do love these blocks, Cathy. You're very clever at pairing the fabrics for each block.

I guess DP is one of those blocks that gets easier with practice. I still struggle with curves.

I do like this Mill Wheel variation. Good job.

Oh i do love your blocks and the fabrics are just awesome! You had me laughing when you said you had to quit after these blocks and move on to something else for awhile. Quilter AHD is alive and well in many of us!

You have a lot of self discipline to keep working at something you're bored with. I guess you won't be making different variations of this block. At least you are making good progress.

Looks like you're doing either a stripe or a polka dot (or both) in each block? These are fun to look at, so thanks for doing all the hard work so I can enjoy them :)

You cut them by hand! I like to cut by hand sometimes too. That's how I used to cut out dress pieces and quilt block pieces before rotary
cutters came around and I'm still comfortable with it.
Your 'off the beaten path' blocks are full of energy, good work!

Dots and Dashes along the Beaten Path.
Great blocks, splendid use of scraps!

Looks like you were the inspiration to one of my latest circles, but I didn't do it right. Maybe next time I will go with two fabrics instead of four.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets bored and has to stop stuff!
