Filling in the Holes with Black Scraps

2 - 8 inch Depression Blocks
2 - 4 inch blocks - broken dishes and pinwheel for the 4 inch units pile
Whole bunch - triangle units for pyramid quilt

November and December are catch up months for Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects.  I looked at my 2.5 inch scraps and decided to fill in some holes in a few projects with black blocks and units.

Other than that I'm working on assembling a couple of other RSC projects - Twinklers and Spools.

I can’t wait to see your depression blocks made up! And gee, even your black scraps are cute!

It would make a great quilt using only your colourful black scraps. At first, I thought that's what it was; just one quilt. Gorgeous! I'm sure they will add punch to their own quilts. ;^)

Your black blocks are so pretty with all the different colors mixed in! They are fun to look at and will fit right in with the other rainbow blocks you've made.

I like the addition of blacks, whites, and brights. These are sure to work well with the rest of your RSC blocks!!

I used to think black wasn't a good color to use in RSC projects, too dark. But it sure makes a nice neutral. Very pretty fabrics in your blocks.

Great collection of "colorful" blacks. Wish I had them. They will look good with any colors.

I love your black prints. I used to think I didn't need black prints in my colorful quilts, but I now realize that they make all my other colors pop.
