Sister's Choice
80x90
288-5 inch blocks
The 3 inch 9 patch blocks were swapped with the ladies of Block_Swappers Yahoo Group.
I made them into 5 inch blocks ala the Sister's Choice pattern at Quiltville. The only difference is that I used 1.5 inch strips instead of 2.5 inch strips.
I used different WOW fabrics for the background and scraps of blue for the star points.
I LOVE quilts like this because there are so many different fabrics to look at. Everything goes together - floral fabrics, novelty fabrics, ugly fabrics, polka dots, stripes, plaids.
The binding consists of all sorts of blue fabrics.
And the backing is a wide WOW backing.
I freemotion quilted it with loops and stars in a natural colored cotton thread. I should probably have used white but that was not what was in my quilting thread drawer when I was ready to quilt.
