It's a finish!

This is another Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) quilt. I made blocks in 2025 in the RSC color of the month with scraps long enough in the 2.5 and/or 4.5 inch width scrap bins
I quilted it on my sewing machine with horizontal and vertical lines.
The backing and binding.
And sew on...

A little quilting marathon is going on here in March . Soon I will have boxes of comfort quilts to send off to two of my favorite charities that provide quilts for kids - Wrap-A-Smile (WAS) and Quilts Beyond Borders. (QBB).
Wrap-A-Smile (WAS) partners with Rotaplast International.
Rotaplast International, Inc. is committed to helping children and families worldwide by eliminating the burden of cleft lip and/or palate, burn scarring, and other deformities.
Quilts Beyond Border (QBB) quilts go to many different initiatives both foreign and domestic...foster care, refugees, Indian reservations, orphanages, women's recovery centers...you will just have to go read the QBB blog because I can't remember them all.

Very pretty rainbow finish, Cathy. There seem to be so many things you can do with 2.5 x 4.5 pieces--this one is really neat...Have a great weekend...hugs, Julierose
A perfect compassion quilt! It will be well loved. Happy stitching!
I like the alternate block arrangement you used. Makes for a much more interesting quilt. And that backing fabric is one that I used every last scrap of when I had some.
Another nice finish, Cathy. I came across some 2.5 x 4.5 x 12 blocks that you inspired. I like this smaller version, too.
I love this quilt! I am making one for my brother & sister in love in a king size. I think I have to make 143 8" finished blocks. Oy Vey, that's a lot of blocks! I love that you send quilts to charities, I need to do more of that. Hugs, Kara
That's a nice design, simple but so very effective.
