Legos
It is made of 1.5 inch squares and 1.5 x 2.5 inch rectangles.
I quilted it on my sewing machine with swirls in light green thread.
I pieced the back with two different fabrics of similar color.
And sew on...

Today will be a "crappy" day for hubby John as he does his colonoscopy prep. I get my turn next week.

In memory of an angel, my granddaughter (right), who passed away unexpectedly of "probable cardiac arrythmia" on this day four years ago at 17 years of age. I miss her so much and think of her every day.

Legos have come up in memes this week as Denmark/Greenland are in the news. Your scrappy version is wonderfully colorful! I've had three colonoscopies (a decade apart). Each time they say the prep has improved. Each time it's uttlerly vile. {{{to you}}} as your remember Kayla.
Just a fantastic Legos quilt, Cathy--congrats on a finish!!
Lovely photo of Kayla--hope your fond memories help to warm your heart...hugs, Julierose
I have been following Lynne's website and I love this quilt too, on my list. Prayers said for your precious grandaughter.
I hope you find joy and peace in the memories on this difficult day. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Hope both colonoscopies come back clean as a whistle.
Hugs to you as you go through your Kayla memory bank today (and I suspect most days).
Colonoscopy prep: the Miralax in Orange Gatorade is honestly not bad. I sure hope no Doc is still requiring that stupid GoLightly gallon.
That Lego quilt must weigh a ton. I'm impressed you could quilt swirls on you domestic machine. Must have given your arms and shoulders quite a workout. My doctor let me switch to Cologuard and so far, so good. Hugs to you and a prayer for Kayla.

I will not do a colonoscopy without using Clenpiq- don't have that gatorade bulk and is much gentler. Get it as a sample from dr. office as it is expensive. Mine is in Feb. Lovely quilt, must make you dizzy!
