Double Four Patch
4 inch (finished) blocks
I now have 192 blocks which is enough for a 12 x 16 layout for a quilt 48 x 64 inches.
A few weeks ago someone sent me a bag with some completed blocks, some four patches and some 2.5 inch squares. Since receiving the bag I have been making blocks as leader/enders. I had a wonderful time looking at fabrics as they went under the needle. I am always amazed by what fun things show up in a little 1.5 inch square.
Now there is some assembly required.
And sew on...

I do like your "chain" setting of these, Cathy...so eye-catching and pretty...especially with those pale blue alternating squares. Nice work on these hugs, Julierose
The coral and light blue constants are just right to offset the scrappy chains.
Thanks for giving me a leader/ender project. I do enjoy your blog and all the scrappy quilts that you make. They are my favorite.
I really like how you coordinated the pinks and blues. Very nice.Comfy looking. Way to go. You are my inspiration!
