A few orange geese from 4.5 inch orange scraps.
I've been making these off and on as scraps permit as a Rainbow Scrap Challenge project. I use the color of the month as the body and if the color is primary it gets corners in secondary colors and vice versa. To make these I use the Easy Angle and Easy Angle Companion rulers.
Not sure what I'm going to do with them. Just using scraps for now.

These are great blocks! Can't wait to see what you make with them!
Great geese, fun fabrics! Have a good time figuring out what to make with them.
I love how you come up with color parameters for your scrappy blocks and components - and how the puzzle pieces always end up fitting together into a fantastic whole.
You can never have too many geese. Well these quiet fabric kind, anyway...
Those are fun geese! I always love quilts that are entirely made of flying geese, and have that on my list to make. I guess some scrappy geese would make a good start!
I know you will find the perfect place for these geese. They will be great to already have on hand when the inspiration hits.
They aren't scraps anymore, hpjust blocks in waiting. I'm sure they will end up someplace fabulous.
There are so many great ways to use FGs. Certainly in a line -- but remember they make points for sawtooth stars. Or reversed for Kings Crown (like this: http://delawarequilts.com/BOMs/KingsCrown/).
Blah blah blah. Love that fabric. They look like great fun.
More great blocks. Looking forward to seeing your Goosey Goosey Gander quilt one day.
Hard to go wrong with a goose. The make great star points. Or they could be a strip between other strips or even a border. Or just a stray goose here and there.
Warm orange, lovely.
And you use secondary colors to compliment, great idea Cathy.
Upstairs and downstairs, and in my Lady's chamber.
Sounds like a great place for a quilt, in the lady's chamber, right? Great idea to combine primary and secondary colors like that. I'm really like secondary colors right now and am just finishing up a quilt that is mostly orange, purple and green. So rich together!
I'm sure these fun flying geese will find just the right quilt to call home eventually.
I'm betting your geese will fly into a great formation very soon, and you'll be showing another quilt top. ---"Love"
Those geese blocks are the same size as the Geese Migration ones I'm doing. I like the look of the opposites you are doing. Keep up the good work!
