The color of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is indigo. Short of indigo we can use black and gray. And so I have made 6 eight inch kaleidoscope blocks from 2.5 inch scraps.
I love this block and am interested in the process you used with 2 1/2 '' strips. Do you have a tutorial to follow? I am thinking you are maybe sewing 2 1/2 '' strips together and using a wedge to cut the shapes. i have seen many paper piece patterns for this block. Janita

Great fabrics, beautiful blocks!
Gorgeous blocks that show off that lovely fabric just right....hugs, Julierose
Gotta love scrappy - ladybugs, candy corn, chevrons, stripes, flowers, grillwork, and polka dots - all happy together.
Very nice!
Even your black and gray blocks are colorful and fun...

Great blocks - they are bright even using dark fabrics. You have a knack for pairing prints.
Very dramatic blocks! Just something about black white and red.
Terrific blocks. They certainly command attention. Good going!
Stunning blocks!

Love the contrast. These will add a real pop to the final quilt.
My gut reaction when I first laid eyes on your blocks was, "Ooo, wow." I'm finding I really like the blocks being made with black!
Lovely fabrics in your Tales From the Dark Side! These blocks will be wonderful mixed with all the other colour.
You amaze me with all that you accomplish!
