Depression Blocks Aren't Depressing

The color of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is indigo. Lacking that we can use black or gray.

From 2.5 inch scraps I made 3 eight inch Depression Blocks...

...and 8 six inch Twinklers.

Got Scraps?
Use them up and join us each Rainbow Scrap Challenge ScrapHappy Saturday.

I have never heard the term depression block before now. Your blocks look great. I love all of the colors and movement in with the black.

I just love the white fabrics in the twinklers- happy faces, paw prints, choppers. I really have to try making them. The depression blocks have such a lovely range of colourful black fabrics. Great work this week!

I love the depression blocks especially; they are not at all what you would imagine if someone said 'black and grey'.
