I have a lot of garden themed fabrics. And I have a lot of large flowered fabrics. Oh, and it looks like I have some birds and some bees. Those are garden themed aren't they?
What to do? What to do?
Hmmmm....I guess I like this. I guess I'll continue on.
This is "House Party" from Adding Layers by Kathy Doughty.
But the "House Party" quilt has some (what I would consider very ugly- very, very, very ugly) applique in the borders. Yuck! . My quilt won't have that. No. No. No. BUT I might try some broderie perse applique instead in the borders and use some of that large flower print fabric I was talking about (or make more blocks and not have a border at all).
Well, anyway...it's fun to think of a garden party now that it's cold.
Surprise! Another new WIP.

Garden parties are fun! Lovely fabrics you are using. They pack a punch : )
Loving those pansies--gorgeous; big flowers are great!! ...hugs, Julierose
They look perfect for this project!
Beautiful fabrics - I love the explosion of colour you have in these blocks.
visiting from WIP Wednesday. I don't normally go for themed material but this looks stunning
Your quilt is going to look great. You have so much fun fabric!
I love to visit you here for all the very bright pretty colors, then I go home to my blog with it's drab Civil War themes that I love so much. Does that make me a schizophrenic quilter??? Nevermind, I promise not to hurt myself or others, LOL!!!
