Whigmaleerie
It's a finish!

Whigmaleerie - an odd or fanciful contrivance.
I finished the top over a year ago and now it has finally made it to the finish line. I have a bin of 4.5 inch unfinished blocks, swapped and made from scraps over the years, and pulled out the blues and purples for this top. I also added in some blue and purple orphan blocks.
I quilted it on my DSM with swirls in a denim blue thread.
I made the binding of blue and purple scraps last year when I was clearing out my 2.5 inch scrap box. I made several bindings at that time if the pieces in the box were long. I cut my bindings at 2.5 if I am going to sew them down by hand and at 2.25 if I am going to sew down by machine.
The back.
A while ago someone gave me that fun panel. I set it aside wondering how to use it. When I made Whigmaleerie I knew the panel would be perfect for the back.
It was not quite large enough so I had to add in a few other pieces.
And now Whigmaleerie is ready for giving or gifting.
