Indian Hatchets

Indian Hatches
Blocks 215-234
Goal 234. Goal met!
Traditional block made of all colors of scraps
Inspired by a vintage quilt
Sometimes I just have to wait for scraps to happen!

If interested there are cutting instructions for five different sizes of blocks at Generations Quilt patterns. I made my blocks in a little different way. Hey, whatever works!

And sew on...

The wonkiness of the prints adds to the charm of these little blocks. Congratulations on completing all 234!

I love these IH blocks, Cathy--good job finishing them up!!
I think this block would be great in Christmas fabrics, too.

Oh wow! That is going to be a colorful quilt. Thanks for including the link. I went over to look at the pattern. When I saw it was flip and sew, I gasped and said not for me, but after looking at the whole pattern, she has made it where there is no waste by making the waste triangles into HSTs so that is a win, I think.
