This week I worked with my 2.5 inch pink scraps because pink is the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month.
I made three Dakota Farmer 8 inch blocks.
And then I made six Hourglass blocks that finish at six inches.
Then I cut the rest of the pink 2.5 inch scraps into 2.5 x 3.5 rectangles for a quilt that will require 800 of those little rectangles. Then I cut squares for some unknown future project. Then I sewed the pieces that were less than a 2.5 inch square into strips for a future Chinese Coins quilt.
Then I grabbed a couple of pink scrap chunks and made two Churn Dashes that finish at 14 inches.
Now I need to check out the 2 inch scrap bin and see what I scraps I have.

I haven't even started my pink blocks and so many of you have them done already or maybe making more still
How awesome that you have your scraps divided into size. I've wanted to do that for ages and just never get around to it. Love all your blocks, but churn dash blocks have always had a bit of a sentimental place in my heart. Beautiful!
I hope to dive into pink today. I had to finish up dark green this week. So many pink fabrics in your stash to play with. Love that pink with flowers on the last left photo! Looks great with that bright stripe.
It's so fun to finally see some bright, happy pink! Love all your projects, and they all look happy, too.
What size do you make your coin strips? I've been sewing some of those little strippy pieces together that don't fit anywhere else, but not sure what width I want to keep them to.
Oh, the wonder of your PINK scrap projects!!! Sigh... SEW bright and cheerful.
I love what you've done with your pink scraps! It is such a treat to read your blog each week.
I’ve got to start sewing leftover scraps into strips, too. I’ve done a bit here and there and used them in scrap (Creature) quilts. But I like the idea of setting them aside and making an actual coin quilt with them. As always, your blocks are wonderful. I have so many pink HSTs that I may take a cue from you to sew some Dakota Farmer blocks!
Beautiful pink fabrics and blocks. I like your organized scrap boxes!
Love all your pink creations.
Pink always seems such a happy colour to me, I espe ially love your pretty pink stars
You are definitely “in the pink”. Great collection of blocks. I love pink, it makes me smile.
Well this looks like a pretty cheery month for your sewing room! What bright happy blocks you have multiplying there!
I've pulled out the plastic bin with my pink scraps in it, but haven't sewn anything yet. Too many distractions for my flitty little brain these days...
What wonderful blocks...something about pink that lifts the spirits. Certainly a good thing these days. Our isolation has been extended into July. Thanks for sharing this!
