I've finished the embroidery on 11 dishtowels.
I like to keep sets of dishtowels, crocheted dishcloths and potholders on hand for Christmas, wedding, bridal shower and/or birthday gifts. Sometimes I make fabric grocery bags to use as the gift bag.
The pile of dishtowels is finished. Here are the crocheted dishcloths to go with them. Now on to make some potholders to complete the sets.
And later on this evening I'll work on catching up on my redwork blocks for row 2 of my Mother Goose quiltie.
Hand stitching?

I would love to be that orgAnized to have gifts ready for giving ahead of time!!!
Oh these towels are adorable!! I too love having a set of gifts on hand and usually my summer months off from teaching to stock up....though I don't know how to crochet.
That's quite an accomplishment!
Love the redwork too!
those towels are so cute--love how your Mother goose is coming...you have been so productive! hugs, Julierose
I love all the towels, but the pig is precious!
These are just adorable! :)
I love them all, buy my favorite is the one with the pig!
I love it.
So cute! Wonderful projects!
I really like your embroidery. I have some embroidered dish towels that I inherited, but I am hesitant to use them. They need to be hemmed which is easy enough, but I am still not sure that I should use them. Although it is a shame that they are languishing in a box. Yours are very pretty. I love that you complement them with dish cloths and pot holders.
Love all your embroidered dishtowels.
That pig is so darn cute! What pattern do you use to make your dish cloths (knitting or crochet?)
I've said it before and will probably say it many times again - you are amazing!! I LOVE your hand stitched towels!!! Now I have a hankering to do some embroidery. Luckily, the CQI retreat is next month...
What a lovely collection!
Nice work on your towels! They look great hanging on the clothesline, too.
