It's A Top! Double Four Patch

It's a top!
Double Four Patch
48 x 64

A few weeks ago someone sent me a bag with some completed blocks, some four patches and some 2.5 inch squares. Since receiving the bag I have been making blocks as leader/enders. I had a wonderful time looking at fabrics as they went under the needle. I am always amazed by what fun things show up in a little 1.5 inch square.

I think it has a vintage vibe.

And sew on...

Now that it has cooled down a bit some of my roses are blooming again.

Your double four patch quilt is a beauty, Cathy! I love the layout that shows off the pink, blue, and yellow chains. Beautiful roses, too - glad they're putting on a second show for you!

The double 4-patch is just extra cute with the diagonal colors. Great layout. Such pretty late summer flowers.

Your top looks so pretty with the pinks and the blues running through it. Pretty flower pictures of your garden too.
