Rail Fence Finish

It's a finish!

Rail Fence

40 x 60

This is another "pieces and parts" quilt. Back in 2022 I received a few rectangles sewn together into pairs as well as a bunch of rectangle parts. I don't believe I had to add any scraps of my own to the mix. I was not sure of the maker's intent for the layout since not all blocks were light and dark but this nice little comfort quilt is what I came up with when I made the top way back in 2023.

I quilted it on my sewing machine with horizontal and vertical lines.

The binding is an olive green that looks ok binding a quilt but is kind of ugly in a block.

A green back.

I have finished my  August quilting marathon.

The quilts I have been finishing this month will go to Wrap-A-Smile

And sew on...

Oh Scrap! At Quilting Is More Fun Than Housework

Nice finish and great to use up that fabric on the binding;)))
Nice works for August...I can't believe we're heading into September. But our cooler weather is very welcome.;)))

I too have fabric that are ugly (imho) but good enough for the binding or backing. How many quilts did you manage to quilt this month? It's a successful marathon at any rates. What's next for September? Looking forward to that. Enjoy! ;^)
