100 Eight Patch Blocks
They finish at 6 x 8 inches and will be set 10 x 10 for a 60 x 80 quilt.
I recently made a set of Buckeye Beauty variation blocks with plaids and '30s reproduction fabrics. I had a lot of 3.5 inch width scraps left over so if the strip was long enough I cut them up into four 2.5 x 3.5 pieces and then I made these. Now they are going into a Some Assembly Required (SAR) box to be assembled at some later date (when I get a few more tops quilted and donated).
Stay tuned for what now will happen to the leftovers of these leftovers!
Have a wonderful day!
And sew on...

I know you will find a creative way to use the leftovers of the leftovers. Great set of blocks stashed away for a future quilt.
I'm still using 3.5" scraps for Antique Tile blocks, which you also inspired. I'm never going to catch up...
I love that you use every scrap in the blocks! makes your quilts exciting and fun to look at!
Those are happy! Great idea for 2.5 x 3.5 inch pieces.
Great assortment of blocks! Happy ones.
I figured out that it's the sharp contrast between the prints that makes all of these play well together.
P.S. And the 2.5 x 3.5 size yielding rectangular blocks is visually interesting, too.
Combining such a variety of prints really makes your blocks fun!
