This was an old Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) project. The six inch finished blocks were made with 1.5 x 2.5 inch scraps in alternating light and dark fabrics in the color of the month.
I love the way the blocks alternate. I wouldn’t have though of doing that! Beautiful quilt! Even more impressive when you realize how small the blocks are!
Beautiful finish! Thinking of you yesterday as an older guild member called me to pick up bags of scraps. Lots were cut into 2.5 an 5 inch squares which I am sorting, but am buried in 2 1/2" scraps of various lengths. Yikes. You would probably handle it much better.

I like that with the blocks in alternating positions.
Oh, Cathy - this one is terrific! Simple but so cool.
Bright and cheerful, so pretty! Love the scrappy design.
I love this!
So colourful and effective. You are very clever how you put these blocks together and create a flimsy with so much interest.

I love the alternating layout. I am amazed you get so many quilts made. You must be an organizing genius!
I love this! Would you mind if I copy this idea for nest month's bee block for Do. Good stitches Comfort Circle?
