I just finished Misty's block for the "Anything Goes" RR. I picked this block because her silky had pansies on it and I just love pansies so I knew this was the one. I first surrounded her silky with various types of pansies - a crocheted one, silk ribbon ones and cast-on stitch ones. Then I surrounded it all with a rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue/indigo, violet. I rather enjoyed it all and will have to do something like this for myself now.

Wow, no wonder you want to have one for yourself! I loved your ideas and it was such a rich diplay of colour, techniques and pansies. thanks for sharing.
What a great idea...your rainbow is perfect on the intense colors of that block,, Gerry K.
I like very much the various materials used to make this flower, and the coeducation of colors is fantastic!
Beautiful day
