I just finished Misty's block for the "Anything Goes" RR. I picked this block because her silky had pansies on it and I just love pansies so I knew this was the one. I first surrounded her silky with various types of pansies - a crocheted one, silk ribbon ones and cast-on stitch ones. Then I surrounded it all with a rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue/indigo, violet. I rather enjoyed it all and will have to do something like this for myself now.
Wow, no wonder you want to have one for yourself! I loved your ideas and it was such a rich diplay of colour, techniques and pansies. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea...your rainbow is perfect on the intense colors of that block,, Gerry K.
ReplyDeleteI like very much the various materials used to make this flower, and the coeducation of colors is fantastic!
