It's A Finish!

Stay At Home Round Robin 2022
48 x 62
Big stitch hand quilted.

If interested you will find more info about the Stay At Home Round Robin, the prompts and my center medallion on my March 2022 blog post.  That's when I finished the top.

Lots of rose themed print scraps in this one!  I used mostly scraps in reds, grays and blacks.

I big stitch hand quilted in mostly those same colors.

I have a little collection of quilts made with rose themed fabrics so this one will join my collection.

The backing.

And the binding is scrappy - more rose prints!

And sew on...

I should have known when I saw the scrappy thumbnail on SSS it was you! As always, I am in awe and love what you've done. I have been following the SAHRR for the last few years and really hope I can get it together and finally participate. I've saved the prompts so this is now a "Bucket List" item!

Excellent finish. This quilt must have used up a lot of strips. I’ve got a bundle of Bow ties I could probably make into a centre for a Medallion quilt and use odds and ends for the frames. Well see !

What a beautiful quilt. It has a lovely air of antiquity.

I've never done a round robin or medallion quilt. It sounds like it would be fun.

It reminds me of weathered peeling paint on wood that has a wonderful patina. Very nostalgic feeling. Love it.

Beautiful finish, Cathy! I love all your rose prints and those broderie perse butterflies. Your hand quilting adds so much to the finish, too!

Just lovely! I like the broderie perse elements a lot - like little surprises scattered around the quilt.
