Dark Blue is the color of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC). I'm not going to make many blocks this month because I made most of my blue blocks when the RSC color was light and bright blue. BUT I did get around to making a few BIG chip blocks (4.5 inch finished)) to use in a free Alison Glass pattern called Sun Print.
Then I made some small blue chips (3 inch finished) for who knows what reason. Then I trimmed the purple chips I made last month. Then I made some Wonky Hourglass blocks from the BIG Chip corner trimmings.

I downloaded the Sun Print pattern. It will be perfect for my Tula line print fabrics! Your chips are just so striking.

Blue is absolutely my favorite color in a quilt. Don't know why. My current project doesn't have any blue...and I really miss it. Your blocks look fantastic. I especially enjoy that you've used the black/white combo for the other pieces in the blocks. Happy stitching! -Andrea

I love the deep blues and purples with the black and white backgrounds! I've seen the pattern before and it's beautiful. I just don't have such a selection of colors like you do. I'm not sure why not because I am drowning in fabric.
